Introducing the Self-Reflection Tool

Welcome to an important new project in the Building Innovation in Learning (BILT) Agenda: the development of a tool that will support micro-level TVET institutions reflect on their capacity to identify new qualifications and competencies (NQCs), integrate them into learning programmes and effectively implement them.

Many TVET providers are already applying effective and sustainable approaches to NQCs. The real challenge, or rather opportunity, is to maximise the potential from this bottom-up effort among TVET providers. BILT’s self-reflection project aims to capture, share and scale up relevant experiences and practices directly from TVET stakeholders across the world.

The main objective of the self-reflection tool is to empower TVET providers to assess and enhance their current level of preparedness to address each of the Three I’s: identifying, integrating and implementing NQCs.
